“FLORY” APARTMENT

FLORY

Breaking conventions is enjoyable, sometimes necessary. Especially when we like to stay in traditional interiors while at the same time surrounding ourselves with comfortable, modern items. This is when we admire simply beautiful things, regardless of whether they were purchased last week at a garage sale or made by a craftsman 100 years ago. This can be seen in the photos of another, slightly eclectic interior, in a historic tenement house beautifully located just a step away from the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw.

The classic backdrop serves as a stage for the iconic Vitra plastic chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames, famous melon-shaped lamps, and unique steel armchairs with wings made by Polish artist Paweł Grunert.

Against the wall, there is an Art Deco-style chest of drawers designed and made by our studio. Original posters from the famous Polish poster school period hang on the walls. Next to the sofa stands a lamp as if taken from a theatrical stage. Simply an artistic convention break. It’s no wonder since the owner of the apartment is a renowned actor.
